JIB to open school in Gensan

THE Joji Ilagan Bian (JIB) Foundation will invade eastern Mindanao with the construction of a P45-million four-storey building in General Santos City (Gensan) that is set to open earlier next year.

Joji Ilagan-Bian, founder of JIB foundation, added they will also open a pre-school, tertiary and vocational school as well as call center in Gensan.

The building, with a total floor area of 4000 square meter, will house the four departments of the foundation as it gears towards expanding in different areas of Mindanao and other key major cities of the region.

Bian sees economic potential of Gensan thus, the expansion.

Meanwhile, the JIB Foundation gears towards earning accreditation from several accrediting bodies in the country. Bian said though the accreditation for private educational institutions are voluntary, it will also enhance the company-clientele satisfaction.

Part of the initiatives for the foundation's accreditation, the foundation through the well-acclaimed in corporate development Engineer Chona Evangelista had launched the corporate manual.

Bian said that this manual will be their guide for better corporate practices from internal and external matters.

For Bian, the corporate manual will enable them to have the best guiding principles from prospective employee selection to separation of these employees from the company.

"We cannot give international service unless we improve our people" Bian said.

As they aim for international quality of clientele service, Bian said that it is imperative to have employees that deliver services that go beyond their client's expectations.
